That is intentional.
You shouldn't post actual HTML in your comment on the Development Test Releases page. You should be commenting with the escaped HTML wrapped in pre tags (included in the template) which someone can then copy/paste into the main table, at which point it will become actual HTML.
So, I've been changing them manually for no reason like an idiot. I thought I was doing some kind of courtesy. lmao. I'll go fix my posts.
