Dear all,
Could you help me set up these following use cases please?
1. On a multi-user environment, if I install PortableApps (PA) for all users, does PA create different user profile/setting for each user?
In particular for Chrome, should I install regular Chrome or in PA, so that each user shall have a distinct profile?
2. I'm thinking of syncing PA folder via cloud storage (pCloud) for different users in different computers . And I occasionally use TeamViewer to remote to my parents' computer. Will it work if I use TeamViewer PA from my computer to my parents', when such TeamViewer PA is accessed by both host and client at the same time, real-time on cloud storage?
Thank you so much.

Portable software tends to be fairly self-contained so whatever's in the folder is all you get. The settings are saved to local folders so each user will get totally unique copy.
I don't recommend going this route if you have more than 20 users as your hard drive will fill up pretty quick with loads and loads of duplicate files (especially Chrome, which is huge). One of the major goals of multi-user operating systems back in the day was to have one area for executables and another for settings to avoid this kind of duplication.

I'd probably just create two copies: TeamViewer1 and TeamViewer2 and just run a separate copy on both computers.
