I have seen Walmart branded thumb drives--the Onn line.
Has anyone used them? I am rather hesitant to use it, when I can get an equivalent storage drive for just a couple bucks more fom sandisk or kingston.
But I'm always open to saving money. I suppose people here use a lot of thumb drives, so I'm wondering if folks here have had good or bad experiences with that line.

I got onn ONA19DS001 USB 2.0 Flash Drive 16GB for $3.50 from a local Walmart. The main purpose is not to load PortableApps or regular files but to use this as boot media, only occasionally.
It's a little bit slow comparing to SanDisk USB 2.0 series but Firefox Developer 67 Portable works on it without any sluggishness.
To save money, that depends on how you use the flash drive because I can't really tell how durable onn drives are. If you are planning to use this for file storage or PortableApps, maybe you should spend a few more bucks and get SanDisk.
