to develop applications is often necessary manage a database.
I used in the past "embarcadero dbArtisan", a good tool to manage db, create query, weigh the query, manage the efficiecy, ...
This is a tool that can connect to any database.

Need to look for an open source alternative to make a portable app from. Try the Database Browser Portable app at https://portableapps.com/apps/development/database_browser_portable.
It might be possible to portabalize any of the DBArtisan apps but they are proprietary and appear to be limited to 14 day run times without purchasing.
