Can somebody please tell me how to make this Platform autostartup when I boot my USB WinPE stick? I have indicated to "Start after Windows boot" or whatever during the install process and I have tried editing the autorun.inf file six ways to Sunday and I just cant seem to get it to autostart upon booting WinPE...it is in a root directory named \Programs. Thanks for any info!
autorun.inf does nothing these days other than changing names and icons of drives. Starting with Windows is handled by placing something in the Windows Startup group as you would with anything else. The platform does that on install if you select the option but Windows PE may not remember or support it.

I'm not sure you are correct about autorun.inf..I installed a different Portable App manager called PStart and it autostarts with an entry in the autorun.inf file. Funny that I can't install a portable app manager on my portable USB WinPE...you're right that WinPE will not retain anything in the Startup folder...anyone else have any ideas? Thanks !
Autorun.inf lost the ability to automatically run anything in Windows XP/Vista in a patch around 2008/2009. It's absent in all later versions of Windows as announced here back in March 2009: https://msrc-blog.microsoft.com/2009/04/28/autorun-changes-in-windows-7/
This was due to security reasons. You've have to be running a very old and unpatched WinPE build for it to work. Or treating stuff as an optical drive for some reason.

Ok, thanks for the info! I found a way to make it work using something called PEStartup. Do you happen to know is there a switch or setting somewhere I can use to keep the Platform from auto searching for a network connection when starting? Thanks
