how to create portable app

Hi friends Good Morning.
Wishing You all a very cool weekend.
I am varad from India & this is my first post.
I am trying to create portable applications of some common utilities and softwares which will save installation / activation time.
I tried vmware Thinapp and cameyo , both are creating apps but Thinapp creates very large sized app. Typically a 50MB sized installation when converted to portable gets expaned to 600Mb in size. So its of no use as it lacks portability. I think I am not making right selection of options.
Can you pls. suggest me some freeware tool to create compact yet professional portable app ?
Thank you

Study the Thinapp Manual!

From experience of several years ago, Thinapp is pretty good. However, you have to study the manual until such times as you know what you are doing. There is no substitute for doing that. Really if you are trying to build with Thinapp you need to be doing that in a VirtualBox that is at base level for the operating system your portable is intended to be used in. https://www.virtualbox.org/

In any case, your will get no help with your issue on this forum which is dedicated to applications made portable by the PortableApps method.

Good luck.

Use Portable Apps on both Flash Drive and HDD/SSD.

Beginners Documents Here

I've never created a portable app using the PortableApps method myself. However, you might find the content of this webpage a good place to start. Good luck. https://portableapps.com/development
