I've tried several times to install GIMP 2.10.14 and open the app, but it never launches, doesn't even state any error.
I have a Win 10 Home x64.
I'm not exactly tech savvy, so I'm not sure what I should do here. Can you help me?

Could you please explore to the GIMPPortable\App\gimp\bin directory and run gimp.exe directly? It will run it in local mode but should show you the error. I'd wager we're missing some VC++ runtimes.

I tried that as well and it didn't work. Tried to run both gimp-2.10.exe and gimp-console-2.10.exe. Still no signs of any errors. It seems that the app is about to open and then it just disappears, never showing any window or error.
Was this a fresh install or an upgrade? If an upgrade, could you try installing it to say your Desktop directory as a test?
