I just found this after using MP3Gain.zip for way too many years.
Happy that this fires up; however, is there a reason why it's using version 1.5.2 of MP3Gain? The latest version, from 2018, is 1.6.2 (https://sourceforge.net/projects/mp3gain/files/mp3gain/) and this App was uploaded in November 2019
I don't know how to compile this stuff to self update. Assistance is requested

wxMP3gain Portable is a Portable package of the wxMP3gain application.
We do not update components within the package, rather it is prepared for portable use.
I suggest opening an issue on the base app's github page to communicate directly with the publisher.
I just found the zip package and it has the sane version.
