Platform menu doesn’t disappear after starting some application sometimes.

Hi,

I didn’t find such already exiting topic here, so I write this new one. Sometimes the menu of the platform doesn’t disappear (minimize) after starting the application and simply stays here, in spite of the setting that tells to do so. This happens sporadically and I can’t see a pattern here.

So my first question is: how to find the reasons of this issue? Would be logging activation as a first step be enough or could I do more to get the required information for this bug?

Sincerely yours, Anton.

I have this problem also, but

I have this problem also, but it only happens when I double click on an app in the menu. Then Portable apps stays up and doesn't minimize. And I can not find a way to minimize it at that point. The only thing I can see to do is shut it down and restart.
When I shut down portable apps, are the programs left running still in "portable mode"? Are they still good after I start PA again?
Is there some setting that says accept or require double-click to start an app?

What is the normal solution to this problem? Learning not to double click is really tough.

Thank you for your replay. I

Thank you for your replay. I tested this many times but couldn‘t reproduce this behavior on my installation. It doesn‘t matter if I click the application once or twice, it simply starts it and the menu in question disappears afterwards. So this isn‘t an event causing troubles on my side.

I also couldn’t find any setting, which would control the double / single click behavior. It would be nice if some developers would answer some question in this topic, because they should have some insight in this material. Some questions about single or double click, about cause of menu not disappearing after the portable application start. And if the logging would be enough to find the source of our troubles.

It would be nice if someone in the know would at least comment on this.

Single Click

The menu only handles single clicks like the Windows start menu or any dropdown menu. I'm not sure what double-clicking would do.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thank you for your replay on

Thank you for your replay on matter of double click. Could you please replay on my original question about sudden non-disappearance of menu sometimes? Is it enough to activate logging and post the log here? Or do we have some extra possibilities beside this?
