The last two days at work, running W10 desktops, I have made windows crash (getting a blue screen that talks about a dump (like the one seen here: https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/how-to-fix-blue-screen-of-death-bso...) after clicking on a portable app on my flash drive. I have searched a bit and read that the cause can be withdrawing the drive before Windows has properly shut the drive down. OK, I get that--but is there anything now I can do, to prevent this from happening in teh future? Should I just reinstall my portable apps? Or would I have to reformat my flash drive, and start over again?
