Each time I try to install a freshly downloaded file, and then having selected where to place the istallation on my USB stick, I get the following message:
"Install gets ...Firefox_Portable_2.0.0.2_en-us.paf.exe is not supported archive"
Any advice please?

Most likely its a corrupted download. Try downloading it on an other PC or from another sourceforge mirror if it happens repeatedly.
