If you're running Folding @home v7.5.1 and are upset with protein viewer working on demo mode, you're not alone. It's a bug in the viewer and it will be fixed only on next release.
And man! Actual protein is far more beautiful than demo version!!!
To fix it, that's what to do:
1 - download (but DON'T RUN) the FAH 7.4.4 client
It's available at https://download.foldingathome.org/releases/public/release/fah-installer...
2 - Stop Folding @home Portable if you're running it.
Close window isn't enouth. You must click on icon at system tray and choose Quit.
Maybe it wasn't necessary (only had to stop and close viewer), but it's good to do.
3 - Open fah-installer_7.4.4_x86 as a ZIP archive.
Do not install this package but open it using a ZIP program.
Run PeaZip (protable or not), choose File, Open archive.
4 - Extract two files: FAHViewer.exe and freetype6.dll and copy them to Folding @home Portable folder.
It's located at X:\PortableApps\FoldingAtHomePortable\App\FAHClient
(X: represents your Portable drive or where your PortableApps is).
