I'll help you out

I know the program, and it's found here: http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/

Description as follows (from the main page): "DC++ is an open source client for Windows for the Direct Connect network. Direct Connect allows you to share files over the Internet without restrictions or limits. The client is completely free of advertisements and has a nice, easy to use interface. Firewall and router support is integrated and it is easy and convenient to use functionality like multi-hub connections, auto-connections and resuming of downloads."

Hope this helps.

Espreon,

When you reply, why do you reply to the original post instead of the one you are addressing?

I think this explains a little better

Notice that your post starts farther to the left than the one you are replying to, this means that instead of clicking "Reply" on the post you wish to respond to, you are clicking "Add New Comment" at the top of the page...This confuses some people seeing your post outdented like that. Many will think it is a new post and not a response to a prior post.

There is a portable version

At this moment, if you navigate to http://sourceforge.net/projects/dcplusplus/files/, you'll see DCPlusPlus*.zip available. It is the portable version.
