Patreon or similar?

Apologies if this has been discussed before, a search turned up nothing.

Have you guys ever thought about starting a Patreon account as a means of receiving financial support? I think it might help people feel compelled to donate when they can just add it to their current Patreon subscriptions and "forget" about it, i.e. they don't need to come to the site each month and donate manually, and the regular automaticity of it means they don't need to keep making the conscious decision to donate on this particular month, etc. It seems to reduce the overall friction in the transaction, at least that's how it's been for me!
