Bounceing multiple proxies

Hello

At college everything i go on is filtered through a proxy. The only way i can connect to the internet is to connect through there proxy on the http port. How can i bounce my internet through my college proxy and through a public proxy at the same time?

I have the same problem..

I use Foxyproxy to switch between direct connect and the schools proxy. Ours uses the proxy igate on port 8080. Use the find proxy tool here https://portableapps.com/downloads/ProxyGet.exe to find the proxy the school uses.
To tunnel then again through a public proxy is an issue, and apparently its not possible or easily done. The easier way to do it is by using an SSH tunnel to tunnel all the traffic through to a proxy run at home.
Or if you want to get around blocked sites, use coral cache.
Just add .nyud.net:8080 or .nyud.net:8090 to any URL.
eg: http://www.google.com.nyud.net:8080

im afraid that won't work as

im afraid that won't work as my college uses URL blocking systems, and it will flag www.google.com, even with the extension

so i cant tell firefox to run through my college proxy, to another proxy and run through that?

*edit* every port on the proxy at college is closed except 8080, i thought SSH encryption used a different port
