Foobar2000

I think foobar2000 would make a good portable app if possible. I find it better then Winamp for audio purposes and since we have Portable VLC for video it would be nice for those who want specialized programs. And foobar2000 also uses less RAM then WinAmp from what I noticed using the full install, and installed it has a smaller filesize then WinAmp.

It can be found at
www.foobar2000.org

Yeah,

the answer is NO, since the core is proprietary, but John and friends could construct a launcher, but not one including Foobar.

As all of ya should know Microsoft is the Evil Empire, and Windows (a.k.a. Winblows or Windoze) is their greatest general, so please make a difference and install Linux or Free BSD on yer Windows comp or buy a Mac http://www.freewebs.com/espreapps

1. Core is proprietary, as

1. Core is proprietary, as has been mentioned. This means that distribution requires explicit permission.
2. fb2k is already portable, except for the fpl playlist format, but it supports m3u, m3u8, and pls formats, all of which are portable. It is a slight inconvenience.

There is neither any interest nor need to make a launcher.

It's easy to install as a portable app anyway.

1. Download foobar2000 installer from foobar2000.org

2. Install to {portable drive letter}:/PortableApps/foobar2000Portable

3. Delete the file 'user_profiles_enabled' from the directory you installed to.

4. Refresh your portable apps menu.
