I have Chrome on a thumb-drive with multiple profiles and I would like to save the Usernames and Passwords within Chrome Portable. Any computer I put the thumb-drive into and launch Chrome always saves the Username and Password to the computer. I did follow the instructions on how to change the ini file to save passwords in Chrome but it does not work. Any ideas?

It's not saved to that computer, it's encrypted using the current Windows user's encryption keys. That's why they disappear.
Did you set it and a master password so Chrome prompts you for a password on launch? I honestly don't know if this system even works anymore as Chrome saves its settings in such a portable-hostile setup. Note that logging into Google and syncing will let it move with you.
