I download and am setting up the Ditto clipboard manager. The setup menu has an option to "Start Ditto on System Startup". If I checked that option, wouldn't Ditto load during Windows startup? How would that remain a portable app so that, if needs be, I can delete the program by just deleting the program's folder? Thanks.
The setting would stay in the Windows registry even if you delete the app. Also, the app will be run directly, bypassing the PA.c launcher.
When you want apps to start with Windows, set the PA.c Platform to start with Windows and then set the app to run when you start the PA.c Platform.

Thanks. That sounds like the option I need as this is why I installed the portable version of Ditto - so to keep the Windows Registry clean. How do I get PA.c Platform to start with Windows? I don't see that option in the launcher. I also don't see the option of automatically starting Ditto when I start PA. Platform.
As you install the platform it offers to create a Start Menu shortcut and Start With Windows if you're installing anywhere on the system/C drive. If you're running from there, you can install the platform again over itself and select the options. Unfortunately, it's not in the platform options yet, so otherwise, you'll have to manually add it to the registry.
For apps, just right-click on an app and you'll see an option to start it automatically within the platform.

I will do that. Thanks for your help.
