From a couple of hours ago I can no longer access my office email account (Gmail-based). Google sent me a message, saying that it had blocked my access, because Google considered Thunderbird portable apps “doesn't meet our security standards”.
Having routinely relied on Thunderbird portable apps for the past 20 years, this news shocked me. Did anyone experience the same? Does anyone have any advice on how to meet this challenge? Thanks.

But I checked mine upon seeing this thread and I have no issues here. I just updated to the latest version through the menu. A change in your companies security policy maybe?
Thanks for your reply. So it is just an individual issue.
