Backups are turned on by default (application setting) and the backups are sent to:
C:\Users\User\Standard Notes Backups
Linux (not relevant, but still): \home\user\Standard Notes Backups
This needs to be changed to PortableApps document directory.
AppData directory uses C:\UsersUser\AppData\Roaming\Standard Notes
This needs to be changed to PortableApps AppData directory.
Everything else works fine.
I actually noticed the backups being left behind on the latest update (3.8.10) being released today! Going to use the opportunity to show someone else how to modify the .ini files.
Got rid of auto-update, and no more stuff being saved in the AppData\Roaming\ folder. woot.
Update base app.

any update ,now its not working
Standard Notes.exe!DiscardVirtualMemory is not found. Might be a Windows 10 only app now... more investigation required.
