Help please.
I have been using the the portable version of thunderbird for 3 years now, and have been frustrated with it crashing all the time on me. I loved the Thunderbird desktop but switched to portable when I was travelling for work. I no longer need to do that. Is there any way to get my huge amount of data in the portable version loaded into the desktop version. I need stability and not to lose so much time trying to work in my emails.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Debbie
If I’m not mistaken, you can navigate to portableapps>thunderbirdportable>data>profile and copy that data over to your local profile folder. I’m uneducated about the location of where your local profile is located, but it’s possibly in %appdata%. You should be able to locate it after a first run and replace the data with that from your portable version.
