[Issue] Using the "set as desktop background" feature I noticed that the "Desktop Background.bmp" is stored in the AppData \Mozilla\Firefox\ folder actually the FirefoxPortable new image is also overwriting the Firefox resident setting.
There is any workaround to avoid this issue ?

This is by design. Setting your desktop background implies setting your desktop's background.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
