I know of a few posts saying that people use Deepburner Portable from: http://deepburner.com/?r=download, but has anyone contacted them asking if we could make it part of one of the suites or just available from the apps hosted here?

added here, as of now, it would need to be open source. Which it is not. Free yes, but not open source.
Now when John implements the free apps section, then maybe it would be a good time to talk with them about it. But I don't see a reason to bring it up when John doesn't even have that part of the site complete yet.
Just my thought...

InfraRecorder is open source and has all the same features as DeepBurner AFAIK. From looking it at, it doesn't seem too difficult to make portable, although I'm not sure it can be used on limited accounts. I know there's a thread or two in these forums discussing InfraRecorder but I can't find the link right now.
Edit:
Here's one of the links, it looks like it will run from a limited account

Edit 2:
On the DeepBurner site they have a portable version of the free burner available. It's not in paf format, but it leaves nothing behind on the host computer.
