I checked and it's working in everything back to my Windows XP virtual machine. Are you seeing an error? Did you try a fresh temp install to your Desktop directory? What's your OS, install path, etc?
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Still doesn't open for me.. I just downed to the desktop and try to open.. Doesn't even think about it.. Like clicking on a dll..... Can't figure it out. IT worker, big portables fan, build my own in VM etc.. Win 10 64 UPDATE: Finally got it to open..Compat mode to Win 8 (sure others would work as well) not sure why I had to go there...But there it is.. Like I said, EVERYTHING else works...
Well now, after linking it to compatible mode..It behaves.. Even when running the .exe in apps folder.. But before, it wouldn't even try to open. I don't mean the files from the install folder, I mean the install paf.exe itself.... Like clicking on a .dll or such... NEVER have had that happen. Downloaded multiple times etc... weird...But I'm there.. (But I would like to know, for my own gearhead curiosity, why it wouldn't start the install...)

Run the xnview exe directly within app\xnview. That will let you see any errors
