I can't send email using TB 1.5 portable although the same settings work just fine in Outlook i.e. pop 110 smtp 587 SSL.
I reinstalled TB but that did not help.
I am using the Premium Yahoo email so this is not a webmail issue.
I called Yahoo support and they were great. We set up Outlook and send and receive worked just fine. On the same machine moments later I reinstalled TB 1.5 portable and it cannot send email.
Has anybody run into this problem and has a solution?

I never had any problems.
What about installing a copy of the normal Thunderbird on your local machineand try it there.
And if it doesn't work there, call Yahoo support again.
