Is it possible In windows "PortableApps.com Updater" ? :
+ Button "Download only" + checkbox + field "destination path".
+ Checkbox "MD5" for download appfile.md5 in addition .
+ Checkbox "SHA256" for download appfile.sha256 in addition.
Objectif :
For users of portableapps.com, only one download for many pc and/or pc offline.
For portableaaps.com, less traffic.

The ability to retain downloaded files is planned for an upcoming release at some point. It won't be on a per-app basis, though.
The updater won't use a downloaded file unless its MD5 matches currently. This will be switching to SHA2 at some point as well. So there's no need for the .md5 or .sha256 files.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
