I used MultiMC for my day to day use and it's a nice free, and open source Minecraft launcher that I used for different versions in one app.
i wish that it could be packaged and managed in a usb flash drive.

Isn't MultiMC portable by nature ?
It would indeed be great if it was added.
There should be a way to play minecraft without Java.
