Hi,

Thx for your real good job!
Would be nice to get some news how you see this in future.

91 is stable and the automatic upgrade for local versions as well. We waited to update the stable channel here until Mozilla pushed it out for upgrades. I'm hoping to finish updating it today.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I'm not in any rush to update so I was fine with waiting. I was solely curious about how things are progressing. Was happy to see your comment from the other day.
On portable 32 bit version 78, the update to version 91 was offered automatically (also in the about help) and works.
On portable 64 bit version 78, automatic update to 91 is not offered.
I really appreciate the work associated with maintaining the portable platform and I am happy for this platform for many years.
I'm actually waiting for portable v.91 (or higher) 64 bit (install or upgrade from v.78 64bit) so I can try to convert data from 32bit portable version 91 to 64 bit version (according to the instructions here on the forum).
When do you anticipate the 64 bit upgrade to be available?
Thank you.
I'm getting an in-program offer to upgrade to 91.2.0 (even though latest is 91.2.1 yesterday).
No update offer from PA.
So how are things coming along?
I'd especially love the PDF preview, but also:
-- multi-process, account ordering, additional shortcuts, CardDAV …
It's a major update!

Though : Looking at yesterday's release notes, maybe a little waiting is warranted:

errors … could not … did not work correctly … no clickable buttons … had no effect
… wow, it goes on!
My portable install has upgraded asymmetrically due to a push update a few days ago (possibly 23 Oct 21). The 64 bit is now 91.2.0.7963 (the install I use most) but the 32-bit version rests at 78.14.0.7914, which is what I use while travelling (as I am now), and is throwing a profile error. Not exactly a surprise, but I'm a little at a loss as to how to force the 32-bit to update without being able to run it.
I'm posting here to just to flag that it's not just 32 bit that's getting a push update to 91.
On portable 64 bit v.78, automatic update to 91 = OK now.
PortableApps 64 bit install = v.78
I don't understand what you're saying. What is OK?
91 OK what? But PA install 78, I know that.
Since the 64 bit has push updated, I can't run the 32 bit client without it trying to generate a new profile - there is little 'ok' about this, but it's not Portable Apps fault, it's that Thunderbird portable has two upgrade paths
The Update to Thunderbird 91.2.1 for 64 bit is now showing up in the about menu?
How long until the portable app gets updated?
Hi, I have recently updated 78 to 91 and there is an error. After launch everything seems to be OK, but visiting Preferences leads to memory leak and TB crash. Tried more than once with fresh install. Update NOT recommended.
Version 91.3.0, first offered to channel users on November 3, 2021
Not TB (Win64bit portable) after update crash...
