I installed winLAME to the Portable Apps Platform 19.1 on my USB thumbdrive.
When trying to launch the program the splash screen shows up and closes, after that nothing happens.
I waited for about 2 minutes for the program to come up and still nothing. winLAME is still listed to support
Windows XP on its download page.

I've confirmed that it does not work on Windows XP and updated its app page appropriately. It appears winLame never supported Windows XP. At least since 2010.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
