After installing the platform, one gets asked 3 questions:
- Run PortableApps.com Platform
- Create shortcut
- Automatically start the platform with Windows
Obviously the first question shouldn't be asked again, but what about the other two?
I've tried finding them in Options=>Advanced to no avail.
This will be added to the platform within an Integration tab in the future. For now, you can re-run the PA.c Installer to see them again. Close the platform, download the installer from the website, run it, and have it install.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
In that case, may I ask where is the shortcut created? In the Start menu? In the Desktop?
As when starting with Windows, will it know if one moves the Platform into a different folder?
$SMSTARTUP as detected by NSIS. This will be C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu by default. It's a standard Windows shortcut as all Start Menu shortcuts are, so if you move the platform, it'll break.

Will the start with Windows option be updated if needed?
As for $SMSTARTUP, can't the Platform check it and update if needed?
If you manually move stuff, it will stop working. The feature is designed for users who install it with the installer and then use it. A user who is manually moving their PA.c Platform around will know how to configure a shortcut and start with Windows. Same way if you manually move it from one of the preset locations (root, USERPROFILE, cloud drive), running a PA.c Installer directly or the PA.c Platform Installer directly won't find it and will ask you where you want to install.
