I saw Thunderbird 2.0 came out yesterday. Does anyone know what the lag time is till the portable version might be out?
Thanks

P.S. I love PortableApps. The idea of taking my email and stuff with me on a small USB flash drive is so amazing. I love it! Thanks to everyone who has made it possible!
Un-official Request Apps Guidelines
PLEASE do not request the latest version of your favorite software so soon after it is released. ("Hey did you know that the alpha/beta/new version of __________ just came out a couple of hours ago? When will you have it ready on this site?") John is updated on all of the software that he produces for this site probably even before the general public is.
BTW there is a beta available if you were to search.
It is also listed on the TBP page

Apparently TB 2.0 final is the same as RC1, seeing as there was never an RC2 (Mozilla isn't like Microsoft; their RCs are true release candidates). So all you have to do is download TBP 2.0RC1 from here and you technically already have the final.

Thank you!
I just switched over to Thunderbird and TB Portable after over 10 years of using Eudora. I was unaware that of the release history and how solid RC1 was.
Thanks,

Thanks -- I upgraded my PC to TB2 and then did the USB flash drive to the TBP 2.0RC1 and it all seems to work great.
