I opened the software as always.
But this time there is no feed in the software.
I have a lot of RSS feeds but are they all gone now?
What happened? Can someone help me?
More Info:
OS: Windows 10
QuiteRSS Portable 0.18.4
I check Data/Settings Directory ..and I can see feeds.db file there..
I open the app using QuiteRSSPortable.exe exe file in the Root directory of portable QuiteRSS
and also try going to App/QuiteRSS directory and open QuiteRSS.exe from there.. and it's the same.
The feeds.db that contains your feeds is moved back and forth from Data\settings to App\QuiteRSS. With the app closed, is there a feeds.db within App\QuiteRSS?
Running QuiteRSS.exe directly will use or create the feeds within App\QuiteRSS whereas running QuiteRSSPortable.exe will move the one from Data\settings in and then run it. If you have two copies, one may be the wrong one.
If it crashes or your PC crashes, it will recover when you run it next time. And if you upgrade after a crash, the installer will preserve the files within App\QuiteRSS (as directed by the installer.ini within App\AppInfo). So, it shouldn't normally be possible for the launcher to accidentally delete one even in extreme situations like a PC crash while the app is running.
If not, then the file may have been corrupted. Restoring from a recent backup would get your feeds back.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
No..Unfortunately
I have many Backups files(feeds.db_*.bak) in Data/backup ..but last one is from 2018
And another one in Data/Settings that i check it out with SQliteManager and It's default like in App/DefaultData/Settings
I think i lose all my feed. I dont know what to say now... maybe with some recovery app i can check for file ??..nor not?
This is cause i dont have time to backup regulary ..is any option in QuickRSS For Backup?
There are also some things in feeds.db file in Data/Settings ..... I can see the labels table ... that means my labels is there.. and don't gone.
