Portable database

Hi

I was wondering if anybody knew of any portable freeware/open source programs that are similar to the collectorz utilities i.e. Book Collector?

I know it is not open source (or free) but it is an example of what I am looking for, any help would be greatly appreciated

There is a free (GPL)

There is a free (GPL) application, GCStar: http://www.gcstar.org/

The application seems to be portable, but maybe its dependencies are not (Perl, Gtk2).
