I am having problems ejecting my USB drive after using PortableApps. If I insert the USB drive, do a few file copies from File Explorer, then eject the drive, all works fine. But if I launch PortableApps, shutdown PortableApps, then try to eject the drive, it tells me that there are files open on the drive. I've checked in Resource Monitor and I cannot see any files open on my USB drive but it still won't eject. I am using version 21.2.2 of the platform which I believe is the most up to date. Any suggestions as to what is causing my problem. Also, I have tried the USB drive on a couple of different Windows 10 PC's.
Try IObit Unlocker portable, to see & unlock your files/folders.

Catch22 Situation. I can't run IObit Unlocker without launching PortableApps first and I need to see what is left locked when PortableApps is closed down.
You don't need the platform to run a portable app. Just make a copy of IObit Unlocker, put it somewhere and use it to know what's wrong with your folder containing the platform..
PS. Not easy to imagine your situation or to give you the right advices.
Making tests with a fresh installation of the platform and adding copies (not new installations) of your installed apps, may let you locate the issue!

Problem Ejecting USB Drive
Please, ... use the "Eject option".
The eject option is in "Windows 10 Explorer | Left click on the USB Drive letter | Eject option". The Eject option, is lower of the Format option.
I hope that your USB device, is not a mobile device.
