Setting PTB as default on Vista

I use PTB as my email client (from a USB Key) to have access to TB on both a laptop and desktop, depending where I am. I would like to have the right click - send to - mail recipient use PTB on Vista but it doesn't appear in any program defaults list (and there doesn't seem to be anyway to choose a program not traditionally installed) Anyone know a workaround? Can I install TB and then modify some settings so that it looks for PTB?

Cheers,
Rob

AFAIK

No

More info

I have played with this a bit and while this is not a solution it does make the most of the situation.
I installed thunderbird on vista to register it as the default for all things email and then deleted all shortcuts etc. so as to not be confusing. As long as thunderbird portable is open all system references to thunderbird will find and use portable. If it is not open the system will open a new instance of thunderbird which unfortunately is the hard installed version.
