Migrating a profile from an old TB portable installation to the most recent PortableApps including TB

I have a backup copy from June of a TB portable installation I recently lost. I installed PortableApps, including TB portable, afresh from a download on Sep. 14. 2022 on a USB stick. It would be great to transfer all the account information, passwords, etc., plus a history of e-mails from the last 10 years. What has happened since June is still in my IMAP account and will hopefully be available after reconnection.
Will it suffice to copy the profile folder from the old installation backup to the DATA directory of the new installation? Or should I also copy ThunderbirdPortableSettings.ini into the “settings” folder? Or yet more?

Whole Data folder

After installing the latest Thunderbird Portable, delete its Data folder and then copy the whole thing in from your backup.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
