MAC OSX Compatibility?

Hi,

Anyone know if Firefox portable works with OSX?

I tried to download the Portable Apps Suite Lite and NO LUCK!

Thanks

Unforunately no...

IT is only windows and Linux with Wine compatible.

There is no version here that is OSX compatible. I think the only way you'd get it to work is use parallels or Boot Camp

CrossOver

From the makers of WINE comes CrossOver. (That sounded like the beginning of a movie trailer.) It might be able to support apps that run under WINE. The sad part... it's payware. I'm sure there are other apps similar to WINE that are open source, but not sure if they exists or if they're WINE compatible.
Also, try searching for a Mac version of Firefox Portable. I think I saw something somewhere.

Darwine

Just grab darwine. It's a Wine port for OSX. Free. Open source. I believe it only works on intel macs, though. Otherwise, it would have to include an emulator. (it doesn't... it's Wine Is Not an Emulator).
