Is there a way to move the VVV catalog to an iPad and search the contents?

Portable Apps only run on Windows, or Linux/OSX using something like Wine. There is no way to run them on iOS. So you can't use VVV itself.
VVV does have a way to share a built catalog with other computers by way of other devices connecting to a database on the first computer, but moving it to an iOS device wouldn't be possible as far as I can tell because I can't see a way to run a Firebird database on iOS.
