Bookmarks doesn't close, but all the open bookmarks disappear until I click on the X, to close it, then re enable by ctrl + B.
This appears to be a recent Firefox bug. I was able to reproduce it just by exiting the platform without ejecting and disabling the Close Apps on Exit feature. The only thing I can think of offhand is that the platform sends out a notice to all open windows that the fonts may have changed. Each app decides how to respond to that on its own. The platform has done this since 2011.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Thanks for that. I wondered if it was a Firefox thing.
