PasswordSafe Portable issue

Hey all, been using PasswordSafe portable for a long time. I have experienced an issue with the last two versions. If I try to open a safe dB file by double clicking on it, it gives an error. The previous version would then delete all files in the safes folder after you acknowledge the error. I updated to the most current version on portableapps.com. it still causes the error but didn't delete the file. Got the same error if you try right click 》 open with. The only way to open was start the app first and then open it from inside the app. I Uninstaller the portable apps version and installed the regular version and no longer have the issue. Hopefully it gets fixed.

If your issue is reproducible with a fresh (portable) installation, then it's a bug. Otherwise, it's OS/PC related.

Associations

If you associate a file type with an app within the app (db file here) it associates it directly with the app and not with the portable launcher. You need to associate it with the portable launcher. PasswordSafePortable.exe in this instance. That will ensure it opens correctly.
