Portable Trillian

I know that there is "Trillian Anywhre" but I have followed the instructions to the T... and it doesn't completely save all of my settings. I'd prefer to have a rock solid version like the other apps offered by this site. But if you can create a working "Trillian Anywhere" that saves every setting and put it in a zip file (or something of the like) for me to have, I would shure appreciate it.

Thanks!

This has a discussion on it and why it may not be completely portable. Hope this answers the question.

I am sorry...

but, we do not make portable commercial software on this forum. I know this is not the answer you are looking for, but unfortunately that is the rules for the site.

That said, if someone has time, they might be able to create a launcher that works for Trillian, that you can add the program to later.

Simpler Fix

I just found a simpler fix... If you have a removable disk pen drive, tell trillian to install it to the root directory, it seems that trillian automatically makes itself portable. It keeps every setting.

For a reference, I have a Sandisk 512mb Cruzer Micro... I don't think that it has anything to do with it though. But thanks for your replies. I didn't realize that commercial software wasn't made portable here. My bad. anyways, this is for those that wanted to know.

Okay

Yeah, what you can do is ask for the the software, and someone can post an answer (legal software). We are waiting for JOhn to get the freeware up (as opposed to open source) Don't knock yourself over the head- we all make mistakes (and mine I'd rather not list.)
