Malwarebytes reports this as anomalous

I have been told Malwarebytes that the "start.exe" has malware.
The description is "MachineLearning/Anomalous97%"
It quarantines "start.exe" immediately.
Malwarebytes has been informed on this.

I found tree instances of the word "anomalous" they were about programs not "start.exe."
John T Haller, I have been with you since the beginning, don't let me down.

False Positives

Hi, premised they are definitely false positives, can you provide the following?

1) List the VirusTotal links (of each detected file). If you have not already done so, upload the files detected by Malwarebytes to VirusTotal.

2) List the names of the executables detected

3) Indicate the link where you downloaded the files.

VirusTotal Scan

Here's the VirusTotal scan specifically for that file: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/58a3b81a808ff8965b5a98e066ed22f6f4bb...

It shows clean in everything including Malwarebytes. It's most likely a heuristic detection if you have that feature turned on. It's likely off in VirusTotal.

Please ensure you're Start.exe matches the uploaded one. You can do this by checking the SHA256 hash and comparing or just uploading yours to VirusTotal. Then please report the issue to Malwarebytes.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I'm a field tech, we have a lot of clients using Malwarebytes OneView..... over the past couple of weeks, whenever I come back into the office & check the dashboard, I have a plethora of 'suspicious activities', which are ALL portable apps, or one of the apps I ran (I mainly only run CCleaner & SSD-Z, though I have my stick setup for a lot of contingencies).

(I've been closing every incident, and letting the MWB folks know its portable apps, a utility, in the hopes THEY fix their end).

(Also want to add, I've been using PA since... gosh, I want to say at least 2007?... regardless, I LOVE this utility!)
