I have noticed that the portableapp menu doesn't open in the bottom right (like when I use it on my local laptop) over RDP.
In this latter case the menu is positioned in the top-left corner. Would it be possible for the app to work out what the current resolution is (since RDP can really be anything) and so that the menu can always open at the bottom-right (relative to the resolution in use)?

If you stay logged in with the PA.c Platform running and connect over RDP, to any running apps Windows shows that as the resolution changing. This is already tracked within the PortableApps.com Platform Bug Report and Feature Tracker as "On resolution changes, menu moves. May be able to pin it.".
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
