I just tried it under Ubuntu 23.04 running their app store-provided wine-8.0 repack-4 after adding in 32-bit and setting the architecture to 32-bit via the command line and it is working. Note that we can't help with troubleshooting Wine and various distros with specific apps due to the high level of variability.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
