Snes9x

The newest version of Snes9x saves the settings on a .cfg file on the same folder with the .exe... so, now it's can be made portable.

Make sure you get the registry location. I believe it's located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Emulator

With the new versions of this emulator, that key isnt used anymore...
The program use only the cfg file on the folder...

Thats where you are wrong. Yes the cfg file is there but it still uses the registry

use...

a secondary registry. compile the files used by the emulater and place them somewhere in the flash drive, then redirect the emulater to use the secondary registry instead of the computers registry.
