Cache folder for Chrome Portable?

I would really like to use Chrome Portable, but I can't find the Cache where Chrome parks many. many MB of stuff every day. Any guidance appreciated. I just want to be able to add that Cache folder to my CCleaner options for daily (nightly) clearing.

TEMP

By default, Google Chrome Portable keeps its cache in your TEMP folder and deletes it on exit.

If I'd prefer to have the wear and tear on my data drive (where Chrome portable resides) rather than on my boot drive (where the system temp folder resides) is there any way to accomplish that?

Manually

You can copy out the GoogleChromePortable.ini from Other\Source and place it in the same directory as GoogleChromePortable.exe, set CacheInTemp to false and add to AdditionalParameters= the following:
--disk-cache-dir="X:\PathTo\Your\CacheFolder"

Thanks for the info. When

Thanks for the info. When doing this I noticed a comment in the ini stating: "HTTPS browsing is never written to cache and thus not an issue."
Since the vast majority of all websites these days use HTTPS, if I merely set CacheInTemp to false (without specifying an alternate CacheFolder location) will that simply result in standard HTTP browsing not being cached? Because, I'm totally OK with that.

Not Sure

I'm not sure that comment is valid any longer. And I'm not sure where cache resides when set to false. Likely in Data.

Chrome Portable Cache

Thank you, John. In that case, ther's no reason to try adding it to CCleaner's Custom Clean settings. --Dan
