Hello,
I am using Firefox Portable version on my desktop computer. I want to copy the "FirefoxPortable" folder (extracted from the installer) to either another location on the same computer or another computer or usb drive.
So,
1. Am I allowed to do so?
2. If yes then will running FirefoxPortable.exe from the copied "FirefoxPortable" folder contain the bookmarks, firefox settings, extensions installed, cookies, active logins, site settings, offline website data etc as present in the original "FirefoxPortable" folder? Also, will there be any kind of conflict/problem by doing so?
Thank you.
If you want to 'clone' the Firefox Folder, to have the same somewhere else, then it's possible.

Thank you very very much for your reply.
1. In the link posted by you it is written -> "When you start Firefox Portable for the first time, it's recommended that you turn off disk cache..." but I can't find any "disk cache" in Settings. I am using Firefox 121.0 (64 bit).
2. (Confirmation) In the link posted by you it is written -> "... just copy the contents of that folder (except the cache directories)..." The cache directories (in my case) are cache2, jumpListCache, shader-cache, shortcutCache and startupCache, is this right?
3. (Confirmation) While copying the contents to the FirefoxPortable\Data\profile directory I have to select "merge all folders" and "Replace the files in the destination", is this right?
Also, many thanks to the developers for creating such a great application.
1 & 2: I don't use firefox nor those procedures. So I can't advice you.
3: Theoretically, yes!

Ok. Thank you again for your reply.
As of now, the procedure in the link you posted is working. In case I encounter any problem in future then I'll post here so that someone can reply to that.
