After being updated from 28.0.0, I accidentally discovered this strange folder appearing in the installation directory.

Did you manually change the PortableApps or PortableApps.com directory names at any point? This isn't supported and will lead to unpredictable results.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I did nothing with the PortableApps directory. I only use the platform to do anything.
