Profiles in C:\Users ? It's silly... this is not really portable! Make something really portable, please!
Or better, take a look at Floorp... a fork of FF but far superior.

If you're running FirefoxPortable.exe directly or running it from the PA.c Platform, the profile is self-contained within FirefoxPortable\Data\profile. Firefox's profiles feature will still show it as C:\Users if your check the about:profiles page, but you can ignore that. If you're running firefox.exe directly within Firefox Portable, or have associated it within Firefox or pinned it to the taskbar directly without the platform (both of which are the same as running firefox.exe directly), it'll run in local mode and save to APPDATA on the local machine.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
What I mean is: where is APPDATA? In C:\Users
If I take "FirefoxPortable" on my drivepen to another machine, it won't find Firefox APPDATA...

As long as you're running FirefoxPortable.exe either directly, from a shortcut, or from the PA.c Platform, it's fine and you don't need to worry about anything. Some non-personal things are temporarily stored in APPDATA (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\...) while it's running and removed on exit. Your profile never moves from FirefoxPortable\Data\profile.
Firefox Portable is portable as it has been since I created it 20 years ago.

Tank you.

I haven't tried Floorp, but if it's as good as you say, I'm down to check it out.
