Floorp Browser has been amazing to use, unfortunately their workforce isn't much & they had to get rid of their own Portable edition, one of the few that had an auto-updater built-in.
As of now they're using PortApps, a framework that isn't following rules, already had a cease and desist by Mozilla due to a trademark violation and on the past, it was common the portables were flagged by VirusTotal, not only that but JRE is required for the end-user to be able to run its launcher, but with all that, it just brings-up concerns.
I made a GitHub issue to ask why PortApps & the dev replied that it was due to its already availability on GitHub to be able to have maintainability with ease . The dev has interest on PortableApps Framework, as long as somebody is able to maintain it so I upvote this request.
Edit: Changed text formatting.
May you know the say: "Don't trust computers you cannot throw through the window"? Here it is my contribution to it: "Don't comply with programs you cannot simply delete as if it was a File" - Anon.
I also 3rd this app request!
If for nothing else, at least PortableApps.C taking over would prevent headaches/the updates song & dance, every time a new floorp portable update comes out...as evidenced by here : https://share.google/aimode/Vnu10Kdr4iMCuf6KK
So here's hoping Senor John would seriously takes it up since seems creator/publisher already halfway blessed said action. Now all chu need is the 2 parties start talking like parrots
Thank u Senor One-Patch
